Brought up by a family of extremely unpleasant personality and constantly being bullied by the latter since his infant arrival on their doorstep, he's that dark-haired, green-eyed, bespectacled, short, and skinny little boy who discovers the truth about his wizard heritage-- and is now famous both in the Muggle and the wizarding worlds.  The protagonist of the novel series, the Boy Who Lived, Scarhead, whatever you may call him- he's Harry Potter!

It wasn't as bad as it could have been, thought Harry, revolving slowly on the spot (Parvati was steering).
Of course you see Parvati is having much fun... although she doesn't look Oriental in the slightest (I've always imagined her as so).

"Harry- you're a great wizard, you know."
Sigh.  So touching.

"There you are.  Something for you to wear on Tuesday.  You might even have a scar, now, if you're lucky.  That's what you want, isn't it?"
Until I re-read that part, I hadn't realized how much those words must have stung for Ron...

"You saved 'er... even though she was not your 'ostage."
Look at Harry's cheeks burn!

A little scene from my imagination... it's Harry having a casual conversation with Ginny in the common room one evening and realizing that... hey, she's cute.  I'm more of a RH-shipper (for those uninitiated in the world of 'ships, it means in favour of a Ron-Hermione pairing in future books), but I still enjoy delving into the world of HG once in a while.

fleur_goggled_at.jpg

This is when Fleur comes to the Gryffindor table at dinner the night Beauxbatons and Durmstrang candidates arrive at Hogwarts and carries away their bouillabaisse .  Ron seems a leeetle love-walloped by the sight of this lovely blue-eyed blonde with the pearly-white smile, and boy, does Harry think it's hilarious.

Out of the pictures I did a while ago, a little after the one above, I rather like this one, mostly because of the neat posing.  I got the idea from a picture of a jockey and horse jumping over a fence in a sports encyclopedia, and thought it looked like someone on broomstick.  So I adapted the idea.  Yes, I know the robe probably wouldn't flare out like that in reality, but... meh.  It stays.

I'd be extremely flattered if you would like to use these pictures- but please email me first for permission- oldparchmentandink@canada.com  Thanks!
